Industrial kitchens and laundries

Tiling in industrial kitchens on ships requires the following properties from the products used:

• a chemical-resistant and resistant joint which is also highly wear resistant to withstand the daily use of cleaning agents
• a moisture protection to protect the areas underneath and also to protect the substrate structure - which can be steel, aluminium or screed - from moisture

The Marine Universal B system is suitable for a wide variety of laying work with tiles and natural stone coverings on screed in a variety of areas. If sealing or waterproofing is required, this can be provided using PCI Epoxigrund 390 in kitchen areas or PCI Seccoral 1K in wet rooms. The laying and grouting products are selected on the basis of the floor covering concerned.
